My 11-day European adventure - First stop, Berlin.

Hold onto your hats, because my first stop on my 11-day European adventure was none other than the electrifying city of Berlin! I caught the 12.20 flight from East Midlands airport and touched down at Berlin Brandenburg airport at 15.10. From there, I hopped on a direct train that whisked me away to the bustling Berlin Central Station in a lightning-fast 35 minutes.

With time to spare before my onward journey, I decided to explore this vibrant city and get a taste of its unique culture. I wandered through the lively streets, taking in the sights and sounds of this fascinating metropolis, before reaching my ultimate destination - the world-famous Brandenburg Gate. Standing before this iconic symbol of German unity, I felt truly awed and inspired.

And what better way to cap off my whirlwind tour of Berlin than by sampling some of its delicious culinary offerings? I made a beeline for the local McDonald's, eager to experience the unique flavors and textures of this fast-food institution in a brand new setting. Suffice it to say, I was not disappointed!

With my belly full and my heart racing with excitement, I caught the 19:01 train from Berlin Haupbahnhof to Dresden Central Station, where I would spend the night before embarking on my next adventure. Stay tuned for more thrilling tales from my incredible European journey!
